The Mandal factory from the air

About Nøsted &

Family-owned. World-renowned.

Nøsted & AS is a Norwegian family-owned industrial group headquartered in Mandal — 420 people in four countries developing, producing and delivering products and solutions for a wide range of uses.

It started with one chain factory.

The company's story began when Alf Nøsted founded Norsk Kjettingindustri AS in Mandal in 1939. From there it grew, slowly but surely, through organic growth and acquisitions.

Nøsted & was established in 2019 when the companies of the Nøsted Group — including Nøsted Kjetting, Igland, Kjættingfabriken, Marwin Løfteteknikk, Nosted Mechanika and Chaine Select — were brought together as one company.

“Every connection is a new opportunity for lasting relationships.”
